Hi, I’m Maili Nina— a painter and illustrator based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born in Japan and raised between Japan and Hawaii, I draw inspiration from my love for animals, nature, storytelling, and the magic found in everyday life.

I graduated with a BFA in graphic design, but my passion for creating meaningful artwork led me to pursue painting full-time. As a freelance artist, I specialize in custom pet portraits, hand-painted artwork, and personalized commissions for both private collectors and brand collaborations.
